Sagebrush BBQ & Grill

David Freeman founded Sagebrush BBQ & Grill in 1999, and the Freeman family still runs it. The restaurant says it is open year-round for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a menu that runs from ribs and smoked meats to buffalo, burgers, salads, fish, tacos and USDA Choice steaks, and gluten-free and vegetarian options. The bar adjoins a lounge-style dining area with garage-door windows that open in summer, and serves beer, wine and cocktails. SBQ To-Go sells the full menu for takeout plus shakes, ice cream, subs and espresso; call 970-627-1404 ext 1 to order for pickup within 72 hours, or ext 3 for the catering office. Sagebrush also caters and has private-event and banquet space.

The Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s member page lists it as well and says it closes only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and for its annual staff party.
