Never Summer Mountain Products has been on Grand Avenue since 1982 and is independent and family-owned. It sells outdoor clothing, T-shirts and sweatshirts, swimwear, hiking boots, sandals and winter boots, camping and backpacking equipment, maps, sunglasses and optics, and kayak and paddleboard accessories, and rents snowshoes, backcountry skis and bear canisters, with separate summer and winter rental pages. The shop says it is open 362 days a year, closing for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, from 10 am to 5 pm or 6 pm daily, and asks anyone arriving after five to call ahead.
Address, phone and hours were read on the shop’s contact page and home page on 10 October 2026. The pages carry no dated post; the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s member page lists the shop at the same address and phone, which is the second source that it is operating.
