Rapids Lodge

Restaurant and lodge on the Tonahutu River, established in 1915, serving lunch 11 am–2 pm and dinner 5–9 pm Tuesday to Sunday. Dinner reservations are online through Resy; bar and riverside seats are first come.

Rapids Lodge has stood beside the Tonahutu River since 1915 and has a dining room, a bar, a riverside patio and a small number of suites. Lunch is 11 am–2 pm and dinner 5–9 pm, last seating 8:45 pm, Tuesday to Sunday; it is closed Monday. Reservations are for dinner in the dining room only, made online through Resy and held with a credit card; bar and riverside seating is first come, first served, and patio seating depends on the weather. There is a midday menu, an evening menu and a to-go menu called Lodge Provisions. There is no dress code; the lodge asks for mountain casual rather than athletic wear. It offers many gluten-free dishes but says it cannot serve guests with celiac disease who need a kitchen free of cross-contact. Children are welcome; pets are not, though service animals are.

Address and phone were read on the lodge’s home page, hours and policies on its FAQ page and the menus on its dining page, all on 10 October 2026. The site shows no dated post; the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s member page lists the restaurant at the same address and phone, which is the second source that it is operating.
