Gene Stover Lakefront Park

The Town of Grand Lake's park and beach on the north shore of the lake, with two picnic pavilions that can be rented by the hour, public restrooms, parking and barbecue grills.

Gene Stover Lakefront Park is the Town of Grand Lake’s park on the north shore of the lake, at 1101 Lake Avenue. It has the beach, two picnic pavilions (upper and lower) with access to public restrooms, public parking and barbecue grills. The pavilions are rented by the hour through the Town’s online reservation system: $20 an hour for government bodies, non-profits and special districts, $30 for a private function, and $25 for electricity. The Town’s parks page says alcohol is not allowed in any Town park and asks that no stakes be driven into park ground, to protect the irrigation. The Headwaters Marina, also run by the Town, is across the street.

Address, facilities and fees were read on the Town’s park page and its parks list on 10 October 2026; the phone is Town Hall’s. The parks list carries the Town’s 24 October 2026 community event, and the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s parks page also describes the beach, its public kayak launch and L-shaped dock, and a roped-off swimming area in summer.
