Gateway Inn
Family-run lodging at the entrance to Grand Lake, with individually furnished rooms, an on-site tavern, hot tub and sauna. Front-desk service is 8 am–8 pm; arrange late arrival ahead of time.
Gateway Inn’s rooms have log furnishings and individual layouts, the penthouse included, so the room type on the booking page matters. The inn has a sauna, a hot tub, Wi-Fi and space for boats and snowmobiles, and Wild Bear Tavern is inside.
The front desk is staffed 8 am to 8 pm. Guests arriving later should tell the inn in advance; after-hours calls are for emergencies. Online booking is open at any hour.
The inn warns that Highway 34 over Trail Ridge is closed in the winter months; check the National Park Service’s road conditions before a winter drive from Estes Park.
