Historic lodge on US 34 with rooms and cabins and the Huntington House Tavern, which was closed for the season when read in October 2026.
The lodge sits on US 34 at 15500 US-34, with rooms, cabins and a pool; it is run by Highway West Vacations. Check-in starts at 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. Up to two dogs per room are welcome at $50 each, registered at the front desk, everywhere except the tavern, the pool and the Jupe units; no other pets. Its restaurant, Huntington House Tavern (970-800-4164), serves brunch, lunch and dinner with a menu that changes by season; on 10 October 2026 its page said “Currently closed for the season”. The lodge’s site does not give the dates of its operating season, so call before planning an off-season stay.
